Predicting Super Bowl 54 San Francisco 49ers VS Kansas City Chiefs

Comparing both teams, KC and SF both have strong offenses and defenses, I'm going to have to dive in a little more into the stats and see what they can tell us.  I’m going to be using the data from lineups.com

The 49ers are the #2 ranked offensive in the NFL. The 49ers are a run heavy team. Being only second to the ravens at #2 in total rush yards. With KC being 23rd in total rush yards. KC pass yards is at 5th in the NFL with the Niners, right at the bottom at 29th. Now KC is ranked 5th in yards, however only 15th in pass attempts, therefore, Patrick is really good at getting the ball downfield to his speedster receivers. However, if he can't get the ball to them. Their offense will sputter out. On the flip side, if the chiefs can stop the run, then the 49ers are in big trouble. Lets go onto the defense. With all their defensive talent earmarked to stop the pass.I'm going to go with the 49ers here. They have all the better match-ups. Top pass defense, against an offense with a heavy reliance on the pass. A Dominate run game, with a team with a weak run defense. If the Chiefs fall behind two touchdowns, the 49ers pass rush will start to bear its teeth and the game will be all over. The Chiefs will have to find a way to cut through that 49er pass defense.
