Weekend Rundown of my Mixed Martial Arts Predictions and NFL Simulator Review

A review of the games and fights that I predicted and researched just to give you an idea of how effective or, non effective the simulators are, or my MMA Picks

Hello everyone, welcome back to the Statsbeast, ! I hope your day is going well.

I'm going to be doing a review of the games and fights that I predicted and researched just to give you an idea of how effective or, non effective the simulators are, or my MMA Picks!

First off, the San Francisco 49ers game VS the panthers, Many of the simulators had the game close except for Odds Shark whom predicted the Blow out.

This is what I said: Kyle Allen will continue to start while Cam Newton rehabs from a mid-foot sprain. Allen is 4-0 this season as the team's starter and his 106.6 QB rating is fourth-best in the NFL. However he is facing the 49ers defense which is #2 overall in the league behind just the Patriots. It will be the biggest challenge of this game. The second biggest challenge will be for the panthers run defense which is 23rd in the NFL, which means there pass defense is much better than their run defense. That is a recipe for disaster against the run heavy 49ers which is ranked only second to the Baltimore Ravens. The 49ers are averaging 173 yards rushing per game. Some of the simulators are calling it a close game. I don’t think it will be. I think the 49ers handle the Panthers in this game at home

Turned out I was right and when I'm right it feels good. The final score in that game was 51-13

The Redskins won 19-9. the closest simulator in that game was fox sports calling it 24-11

'Here is what I said:

The redskins are having a rough year, there offense has been extremely basic and predictable due to their offense play set. The are almost blitzed on every offensive play, and since there offense line isn’t the greatest on picking up the blitz the redskins are limited to quick pass plays and running. The Vikings will employ this strategy, well see if the redskins can overcome the pressure. Most likely not. The vikings are playing for a strong playoff position and the redskins season is pretty much over. A 16 point spread is a little ridiculous but the vikings just might cover

Turns out, my first impression was right, they did in fact not cover but won handily.

On to my MMA Picks. I wont run down in total what I said, that would take too long but my predictions we

Ben Askren over Miai. It was in fact a grapple fest, however Demian won in that exchange as playing in the snake pit too long and Ben eventually got bit.

I picked Michael Johnson with the Win, he also lost the decision. It was a great fight and finally the big on, Rory McDonald VS Douglas Lima. I had Lima taking the victory easily. Which ended up happening.

So that puts in at a 5-2 record for my mma picks, I'm still in good percentages and in the money.
