On to the Fights!

Jorge Masvidal VS Nate Diaz

This fight for many fans, casual and hard core looks to be like a razor thin match-up. Jorges last fight he put a knee in Ben Askrens face that gave Ben a free trip to Pluto. In Nate Diaz last fight he pummeled Anthony Pettis. Anthony in that match was the much smaller fighter, I think hes naturally a 155 that has fought in the 145 division and the 170 division where they met. Nate really dominated Anthony after a long time off. However, Nate gassed out big time. He stated that he trained differently than he usually does for a fight, but I think it was more the 3 years off he took from fighting and fight camps which is why he got gassed. Jorge on the other hand has been really active and fighting the top of the welterweight class. He is coming in as the betting favorite in this fight at -145. I do agree that he is the betting favorite, however, he really should be a -250. Jorge is the better mixed martial artist. Hes going to beat Nate to the punch. The only way I see Nate pulling out this victory is if he came back to his old endless motor from he had when he was really in shape. He hasn’t been that Nate Diaz in over 3 plus years, no reason to think he will be for this fight. Jorege Masvidal will win this fight no problem.

Kelvin Gastelum VS Darren Till

Kelvin is coming off of a lost to the top of the class fighter and world champion Adesanya. Where he took him to a decision. Till is coming off of two losses to Masvidal and Woodley after going 18 fights without a loss. Ill make this one short and sweet. Kelvin is the better fighter here and he is going to beat Darren. Kelvin is a -200 and I think that is pretty spot on. Kelvin is going to use his jab in copious amounts. Darren will have no answer for them. Kelvin with the win

Stephen Tompson VS Vincente Luque

Stephen has had a run of bad luck losing his last 2 fights to Anthony Pettis and Darren Till. Before Anthony caught him, Anthony was being taken apart. But much like an injured animal on their last leg, sometimes that’s when they’re most dangerous. That is exactly the case for Anthony. He has to get his ass handed to him first lately before he turns it up. Also, hes one of the smaller guys in 170, its been an issue. I like Stephens striking, its unique and hes a damn master at it. Hes going to have to get back to his A game and avoid Vincente Luque power as Vincente in his last 5 fights has Ko'd the oppent, the last one to survive till the end was Mike Perry and Mike Paid with it with his nose. The decision was split as many thought Mike won that fight. But maybe the right decison was made considering how much damage Vincente did. Stephen is the betting favorite. If he can keep his range he will pick apart Vincente, IF! Wonderboy with the decison

Blagoy Ivanov VS Derrick Lewis

Derrick Lewis is coming off of two straight ass whippings. DC worked him on the ground and Junior Dos Santos TKO' him in the second round. In 2012 Blagoy was stabbed in his lung, after getting stabbed he fought off the attackers, hailed a taxi cab himself and got to the hospital before dying. Blagoy is 3-1 in his last 4 fights. All decisions. Blagoy has the gas tank that Derrick Doesn't have. Derrick is a funny guy, he hits hard but his cardio is dog poop. Mr Ivanov get the W here.

Kevin Lee VS Gregor Gillespie

Kevin has had a bit of a rough go at it since losing that big fight to Tony Ferguson back in October 2017, in total since that fight he's 1-3 with his only win coming against Edson Barbosa. Which was a doctor stoppage. Gregor is on a hot streak, hes 13-0 and 6-0 in the UFC. This is his first real big fight on a even really bigger card Gregor is going to take the victory here.

So to run it down,

Masvidal, Gastelum, Wonderboy, Blagoy and Gillespie. Those are my bets.
