Avengers End Game Integrated Marketing Deciphered

Marvel Studios is rumored to have spent around 200 million on their Marketing Campaigns, the movie cost around 300 million to make and its current box office numbers are around 2 Billion dollars. I will list a many of the marketing partners and strategies the Studio used below. However, I know that I probably will miss a few. But, the idea here is to see how well developed this plan was and how well it was executed. Which ended up making this flick, as it stands, the #2 top grossing movie ever. (It’s estimated to take over first place).

Television Trailer Spots

Fortnite – Had Special Play modes integrated into their game modes

Geico – Ran ads with Gekco Lizard and Avengers Toy line

Quicken Loans – Ran ads with Avengers

Social media - Massive campaign over all major platforms via trailers

Synchrony Bank – Ran Ads with Avengers involved

Go Gurt – Ran ads with avengers and had their yogurt branded with Avengers

Infiniti Car Company – Ran Ads with Avengers

American Airlines and Standup to Cancer – Fund raising ad campaign

Working with large local and national news media throughout the world to run interviews with the movies stars with popular anchors. This includes, print, radio and television

Billboard Ads, Digital/Brick and Mortar.

The point here is to look at how well Integrated their marketing approach was for this movie and try and apply this to your business. No matter what size you are, from a small one-person operation to a large corporation.
